Baby's getting big!

Woooooosh (wind outside the tent) ;-)

 I love the sounds of storm and rain,  I prefer this type of weather over the sun anyday (not joking, I even have a tropical storm soundmaker near my bed ;-). Well, I got my share of it this week. Sleeping in a tent while storms and rain are raging outside was a very unique experience! Lots of walks, talks, wine and fun with Max made this a wonderful getaway!

Mini vacation!

We are staying in a very luxurious tent at the beach, it's uh......different ;-).

Maxwell updates!

He is able to role on his belly and support himself with his arms and chest. He loves it so much, and is now turning around all the time after which he makes serious attempts at crawling!

So yeah, he's become very mobile all of a sudden and will not lay still. We have to keep an eye on the little guy, since he now manages to end up in the strangest corners of the room. Even diaper changing has become interesting now that he keeps flipping around. While you reach for a new diaper, he takes advantage of the opportunity and FLIP, his tiny little butt is in the air ;-).

He is (baby) talking, and producing a whole new range of sounds (including some very high pitched ones); we heard him say mumumumumu and dadadadadda, so technically he has said mommy and daddy, right?

And he is taking swimming lessons, Dutch babies start very early on ;-). It's a fun thing to do, all very playfull and Max is really enjoying it.

His nutrition has expanded to fruits, vegetables, meats, potato, rice, and pasta (all mushed of course). He is also drinking apple juice from a cup. Still a very good eater and def. prefers the sweet stuff.
