We made it!

Maxwell, are we ready for daddy to come home?

YES, WE ARE!!

Let's go home daddy!!

 Daddy, you are not going anywhere for a long time, right? Just to make sure I am unpacking your things for you.

We forgot what it was like to be a family, but now we remember. and it is awesome!! 

(I can not find the words to do justice to what it feels like to be reunited again, so awesome will just have to do ;-).

Almost!

It looks like I am going to have to change the websites name, it should no longer be called 'For Michael,' because he will be here next week Thursday!!!!!

Maxwell got another haircut, that seems to be what he does for special events  :-). He looks so cool, no more baby, he's a little boy now:

This is how he was watching the teletubbies, he sat like this for a while, so completely into the show that he forgot he had his arms up!

Why things were easier before..

My toilet paper was on the roll, not on the floor.

Toys "R" Us had not exploded in our living room yet.

Baskets were used for storage, not for holding babies.

The furniture was still unlicked.

My books and cd's were stored very neatly, I was always able to find what I was looking for.

And finally, I did not have to look at this face every time I turned the Teletubbies of. In fact, I never even watched the Teletubbies!

But I would not want to have missed any of it ;-), love my little explorer.

Almost time for Maxwell to see his daddy!

It will be any day now. In the meantime Maxwell and I are trying to make the best of things. Which is a challenge to say the least (in wintery Minot ;-). Here are some pictures:

We're home!

After a long day, we finally made it to Minot. Maxwell did great; such a good little traveller. Coming home was not so much fun though, we were met by a broken car, lots of snow, cold and many chores awaiting, ugh....

Moving out..

Again, thank you teletubbies (and Nicole for making the dvd's), now we were able to actually do some work.

An ice pick that was hanging on the gutter, crazy!!

Max's cheeks turned all red because of the dryness up here.

Luckily we have been able to do a good amount of work since we got here (and have received help from friends). By the time my dad leaves, Max and I should be able to concer the forces of nature ourselves.

That is until Michael returns. Let's start the countdown!!!!! Almost there......
