Florida Christmas and New year's 2011/2012 (part 2)

New developments every day!

Take yesterday for example: I went to pick up Maxwell from daycare and in only one day a lot had changed. He now sat at the big boy table on a big boy chair while eating his cheerio's and drinking his juice.

He is also working really hard on his jumping skills. He squats down, says tsjjt ( which means: springen) and rises really quick, almost creating a jump. When we go outside he repeats this every step he takes, 10 meters all of a sudden takes 10 minutes. So, yes, it takes us a while to get anywhere (which is great when the temps are in the freezing digits!)

And finally he now knows most animal sounds; a mouse goes piep piep, piep, a bird goes tweet, tweet and daddy goes bla, bla, bla lol.

Snow!

Max is not sure what to do

 In the meantime the snow has melted again :-)

Fall!

Not the desired effect ;-). Btw, he is not crying because he is scared of me dressed up as a teletubby. He is crying because he was watching teletubbies on the computer, and we turned it of :-0.

The pumpkin patch

As the typical American family that we are (not ;-) we spend our Sunday visiting a Pumpkin Patch.
A pumpkin patch is super fun for kids; they get to pick out a pumpkin, climb on hay, play in corn, pet the pony's, go on hay rides, and lots more. The parents then run around like crazy people taking tons of cute pictures of their kids, everybody wins :-).

And a few more, just because they're cute!
