Nicole's visit

Nicole came to visit!

Max was so happy! He did not let her out of his sight, not even at night ;-)
 Hence Max after Nicole left...
Plus! We got to see former president Jimmy Carter speak. It really is him, my flash was off :-), 90 years old, still traveling the world.

And we did looooooots of other fun things. Mark Oh, Bonny Tyler and Guus Meeuwis are still on my youtube search history, the wine bottles are empty and my head is spinning from all the talking!

To end this post, Max's new favorite song:

The oeh oeh oeh oeh song

Dont do it

The pursuit of normality is the ultimate sacrifice of potential. The chance for greatness, for progress, for change dies the moment we try to be like someone else.  Please, don’t tell me I’m normal.

You should hear her say it though: Source,

4,5 years in the making

The Day before yesterday I was sitting on the couch watching some tv (House of Cards, good show!) and Max came up to me, tiredly leaned against me and spontaneously said: I Love You.

OMG!

He said it! He told me he loved me! He didn't just repeat me or say I love you after I told him to say 'I love you.' He did it all on his own!

He loves me :-)

I don't think he'll spontaneously tell me again though. I jumped up, grabbed him, loudly told him 'Thank you buddy!! I love you! OMG!' And....I cried. Max then worriedly told me 'NO SAD!' Mike came running around the corner to make sure everything was oke and I was just so teary eyed happy. I may have reacted a little bit extreme..

But he told me, he did!!

We love each other :-)

Orange fever

It's really fun to have international friends and family. I am receiving congratulations left and right on behalf of my country since I am the only Dutch person most people know. Thank you, thank you, I feel very proud :-).

But I did not get to watch the last two games and I watched the one against Spain only partially because I forgot.

It's not that I don't like soccer or the World Cup, I love it! But I am a little bit out of it apparently.

Will someone in Holland please contaminate me with the Orange fever!
